Since taking office, Trump has ended TPS (Temporary Protected Status) for 6 countries, putting over 300,000 people at risk of losing their status and their livelihoods, and having their families torn apart. Across the country TPS recipients and their communities are speaking up and fighting back, with lawsuits, mass mobilizations, story-telling, and pushing for Congress to pass permanent protections. In this workshop, come learn about what’s happening currently with TPS and the Dream and Promise Act, how TPS recipients are preparing for different scenarios, and how you can get involved in the fight to defend TPS.
