Languages: English, Spanish, Haitian Kreyol
Room: 201
In this workshop, we will introduce the Black Domestic Workers Agenda, our innovative political agenda that unites and energizes Black domestic workers and their movement accomplices around 3 principles: Transforming domestic work, Infrastructure for Black communities, and Disrupting violence & harm. Within each principle there are issues of importance to Black domestic workers and Black women, these issues highlight the intersectional nature of Black domestic workers’ lives. Find out how the national Domestic Workers Bill of Rights, Universal Family Care and other policies & campaigns will fit into this agenda, and what NDWA’s strategies are for anchoring our shared analysis as a base of Black women and domestic workers.
