That is why the domestic workers movement created Alia – a platform that makes it easy for house cleaners to collect and manage benefits contributions from the clients. The goals of this workshop are to (1) Help you sign up for Alia and (2) Show you how to become an Alia Ambassador and get others to sign up. The first part will cover the steps of account signup and answers to basic questions. The second part will cover skills such as telling your own Alia story and how to respond to concerns around privacy, taxes, and immigration.
