My Word Against Theirs: Ways to Prevent Chaos in a Domestic Workplace

In this workshop we will show domestic workers how to protect themselves on the job in various scenarios where it is the client’s word against theirs. When there are situations in which the client and worker are alone, we will explore how to protect yourself against being terminated or penalized. We will also go through best practices for a domestic worker to maintain their credentials and reputation in the midst of conflict.
