At NDWA, we organize under the banner of “domestic workers.” At the same time, we know that workers in the three industries – the home care, housecleaning and nanny industries – face different issues and need to take different approaches to make sure that our work is valued and respected. In this workshop, we’ll learn about how the three industries evolved in different ways through history, how they are currently structured, and our most successful strategies for raising standards in each.
